Oops!  This post was supposed to go up on Friday... I'm not exactly sure what happened, but here it is if a little late!

I'm en route to Wisconsin today (holla Cheeseheads!) so I thought this would be a great opportunity to spread some bloggy love, thanks to Artsy Chaos, who was awesome enough to award me the Stylish Blogger Award.  I know!  I was totally floored to receive such an honor!  So here are the stipulations:

2. Share 7 things about yourself.  Ohmygoodness, I don't know how I could possibly come up with 7 things you guys don't already know!  But I'll try.

~Speaking of may, that's my middle name.  May.
~My favorite snack is chips and salsa with a Diet Coke.
~I have a weird, inexplicable sort of crush on Elijah Wood.
~I don't like it when my green beans squeak in  my mouth.
~My first pet was a hamster named Splinter (after the rat in Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles).
~When I was 19 I walked from Santa Barbara to Malibu.  I got bad blisters.
~My first vehicle was a little Ford Ranger.  That I totalled 8 months after I got my license.
Edit: I just went back to my other award accepting posts and I guess I already used the middle name thing.  Sorry.  But the segue works too good for me to go back and change it now.

What a lovely day!  What an honor!  I received an award from Discovering the Me in Mommy, who happens to be quite lovely herself!  Thank you, thank you!  This took my already pretty decent day from an 8 to a 10!

Here are the guidelines for winning:

I'm Versatile!

Ohmygoodness!  It is a lucky day!  I just received my very first blog award from Tina at The Floundering SAHM.  Thank you so so much!  It totally made my day Tina!  Here's a look readers:

Cool, huh?  Here are the responsibilities that come along with the award:

1.  Thank the person who gave you the award. (Of course!  Thank you again dear Floundering SAHM)

2.  List 7 things about yourself. (oh dear, I'll be careful not to humiliate myself too badly)

3.  Pass on the award to bloggers you've recently discovered.  (Official rules say 15, but I minimized- this is not an award to be given willy-nilly!)

Ok, here are my 7 things:

1.  I slept with a giant, purple hippo until I was 24.

2.  I was a sorority girl!  DeeGees 4eva!

3.  I'm a total teeny-bopper.  I have Miley Cyrus and The Jonas Brothers on my mp3 player (along with my more respectable BEP and Aerosmith).

4.  My all-time favorite book is Little Women.

5.  I love Boggle.  (what was that I was saying about not humiliating myself?)

6.  I actually did not major in versatile blog writing in college, but English and Communication.  So this is quite a surprise for me!

7.  Back in the day I was a ballerina and a figure skater, but my favorite sport is the much more contact-y hockey.
